Prepare to be showered with wonderful music, fashion, makeup, movies and men, as April is shaping up to be quite the month. If March hasn’t lived up to your expectations, relax, and anticipate all the greatness that is to come in, like, one week! If April showers bring us Ryan Gosling, I’m okay with that.
1. Phoenix Will OFFICIALLY Release Their New Album
On April 23rd the world will be showered with Phoenix greatness with the official release of Bankrupt.
2. The Mac x Hayley Williams Line Will Be Launched
MAC presents a makeup line inspired by Hayley Williams and her not-so-luscious orange locks. MAC x Hayley Williams? Super random. But we like it.
3. Playoff Season in Hockey Which Means More Flow
Speaking of luscious locks, NHL playoff season kicks off and our favourite men will be scruffier and flowy-er than ever.
4. Baseball Season a.k.a Getting To See Dudes In Baseball Pants
To continue with sports, baseball season begins as does the season of men in tight, white pants… if you’re into that sort of thing.
5. Kid Cudi Will Release His Third Studio Album
Indicud is set to release on April 23rd and expected to feature artists like Kanye West, Jaden Smith and Kendrick Lamar.
6. The Place Beyond The Pines starring RYAN GOSLING
On April 12th we get to see Ryan Gosling being a little good, a little bad in ‘The Place Beyond The Pines.’ Also, Bradley Cooper is in it… bonus!
7. Spring Shipments Continue To Arrive
Which means, even though it may still be hella-cold, we must buy lots of shorts, dresses, skirts because SUMMER IS COMING.
8. JOBS (And Ashton Kutcher) Hit The Big Screen
The story of Steve Jobs, one of the most influential entrepreneurs of the decade, is captured on film. Expect similar post-theatre emotions that The Social Network brought on, i.e. maybe I should drop out of school and become a billionaire, too.
9. FAT (Fashion Art Toronto) Happens
Arts & Fashion Week takes place in Toronto from April 23-27. FAT is your ticket into the world of fashion through photography, film, music and an array of crazy art installations.
10. Rim Rolling Continues
I partially commend Tim Horton’s and ‘RRRoll Up The Rim’ for pulling me out of my February Funk. Adding a little fun into every habitual cup of coffee continues in April, WOOHOO!
